Fujian food is closely related to Taiwanese cuisine, because many Fujianese immigrated to Taiwan during different historical periods.
The food of Fujianese comes from various fishes in local waters, as well as chicken, pork, duck and goose. Turtle meat and all kinds of mushrooms, including black fungus and white fungus Hericium. There are often pig blood or chicken blood in the dishes, and fish meat is often made into fish balls.
The most popular tea drink is "Tieguanyin".
