The emphasis on a longer exhalation in practices like Tai Chi is rooted in the physiology of the body's autonomic nervous system. When you exhale longer than you inhale, you stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as the "rest and digest" system. This activation promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and can help lower heart rate and blood pressure.


Additionally, a longer exhalation can enhance the efficiency of gas exchange in the lungs. During exhalation, you expel carbon dioxide, which is a waste product of cellular respiration. By extending the exhalation, you allow more time for carbon dioxide to be released, which can help maintain the proper balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your body.


Overall, focusing on a longer exhalation in breathing practices helps promote relaxation, improve respiratory efficiency, and support overall well-being.

蒙古美食

這次在蒙古旅遊,讓我印象最深的就是飲食與文化的結合。第一次走進 蒙古包 (Ger) 用餐時,感覺像進入了另一個世界。木製的裝飾、傳統的掛飾,加上主人熱情的招待,讓人覺得溫暖又特別。 桌上端來的 手抓羊肉 (Boiled Mutton, Хонины мах),雖然調味簡單,但肉質...
